MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Fish Followers Society, also known as ‘FFS’, is a subsidiary of Sober Fish Ltd, also known as ‘The Sober Fish Story’.
1 THE TERMS
1.1 The Fish Followers Society offers a friendly online community space within a closed Facebook group. Special features will include Facebook Live videos, motivational videos, personal experience, support, and interaction with other users.
1.2 An internet connection is required to access the group.
1.3 You should read these Terms carefully before signing up to a membership of The Fish Followers Society.
1.4 By subscribing to The Fish Followers Society and therefore indicating your consent, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.5 If you do not agree with, or accept any of these Terms, you should not subscribe to The Fish Followers Society and withdraw immediately.
1.6 We can make reasonable changes to these Terms (and Conditions) at any time. These terms were last updated on 1 April 2023.

2 THE MEMBERSHIP
2.1 Your membership is a monthly membership which covers a period of one month from the start date. Payments will be taken monthly.
2.2 Memberships may take up to 3/5 working days to implement in full.
2.3 All memberships are discretionary and can be revoked at any time if these Terms and Conditions are not adhered to.
2.4 We will not be held liable for, or responsible for, any failure to perform any of our obligations within this membership that may be caused by any event beyond our reasonable control.
2.5 We may decide to increase the membership fees at any time but will give you a minimum of 1 months’ notice beforehand.
3 YOUR SUBSCRIPTION
3.1 Your subscription will be paid in GBP sterling via PayPal.
3.2 You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to The Fish Followers Society.
3.3 Members are responsible for ensuring their subscription fees are paid in full and on time.
3.4 Once you have paid your subscription, you will receive a link by e-mail. Please follow this link to complete your registration form and you will then be added to the closed Facebook group.
3.5 On rare occasions, we may be unable to accept your subscription. This may be for a variety of reasons which may include –
– there is a conflict of interest
– you were previously removed from the group
– you are not allowed to buy the subscription
– we suspect that you intend to use The Fish Followers Society for your own commercial gain
– your payment could not be authorised

3.6 You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time and do not have to provide a reason. It is your responsibility to cancel your own subscription via PayPal. Once a cancellation notification has been received, you will be removed from the closed Facebook group with immediate effect.
3.7 If your request to join The Fish Followers Society is declined and payment already made, you will be refunded via PayPal. This may take up to 10 working days.
3.8 We reserve the right to suspend/cancel your subscription at any time without warning.
4 YOUR SUBSCRIPTION
4.1 Confirmed membership to The Fish Followers Society is intended for your own personal and non-commercial use only.
4.2 You remain fully responsible for anything that you post online and The Fish Followers Society / Sober Fish Limited cannot be held liable for any repercussions about said posts.
You should remain respectful of other members views and opinions, and refrain from posting any offensive, discriminatory, unlawful, or harassing content.
4.3 It is your responsibility to keep your password and any other personal details confidential.
4.4 We are not medically trained and simply offer a safe online community to share personal experience and expertise. Any information given should not be construed as medical
advice.
4.5 The Fish Followers Society follows the guidelines of UK law. If you choose to access the Society from locations outside of the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local laws
where they are applicable.
4.6 We will endeavour, where possible, to keep The Fish Followers Society available to you. We cannot however, be held accountable if external issues prevent your access to the group. Similarly, the site cannot be constantly monitored for 24 hours a day so please bear with us during UK off peak hours.
4.7 We cannot guarantee the security of social media platforms used by us or that any information that you supply via these platforms will be kept confidential. You should be
mindful about sharing anything you may regard as confidential, commercially sensitive or valuable.
